By the end Of Shakespeare's story Hamlet's mother, Gertrude, Laertes, and treacherous King Claudius are all dead, and a dying Hamlet begins his death speech.

This is where our story begins. ‘The Undiscovered Country’ of the title refers to the afterlife, a vital and brave new world where Hamlet lives on in death; Shakespeare's characters you know, or thought you knew, confront each other again in this often grim and strange new realm. They discover some old friends, long deceased, plus some wholly unexpected new ones.
